There are different versions of roulette and French Roulette is based on the European style roulette.
The French roulette wheel has numbered pockets ranging from 0 to 36. The object of the game is to guess which slot the ball will land on when the French Roulette wheel comes to a full stop.
There are two different types of roulette wheels, American
and European. The difference between the two roulette wheels
is the number of zeroes on on the roulette wheel. American Roulette wheels
have double-zero, which increase the house edge.
French Roulette uses a single-zero
wheel, giving the player better odds for winning. The numbers are also arranged
differently on a French Roulette wheel.
The object of the game of French Roulette is to guess which number the ball will fall on as it spins on the roulette wheel. After the Roulette player places his or her bet on the table, the dealer releases a small ball onto the spinning roulette wheel. The ball ultimately stops in one of the numbered pockets of the wheel and if the player has guessed where the ball will fall correctly he has won the bet.
There are three types of bets in the game of French Roulette. They
are called inside bets, outside bets and call
bets. An inside bet is when the player bets on a number or a
combinations of numbers from 0-36, which appear on the inside portion of the
Roulette table. An outside bet is placed on colors red or black or on combinations of numbers.
